Apricot Liqueur vs. Apricot Brandy

There are a couple of recipes in the Smuggler's Cove book that call for an apricot liqueur (example Tradewinds). I'm having trouble finding an apricot liqueur but I can easily find apricot brandy. Will there be a big difference if I use the apricot brandy instead?

Pretty much the same thing. But if you're using a low quality Apricot brandy like Bols, DeKuyper, or Hiram Walker, you might want to cut back on it a bit since those are very sweet. Try Rothman & Winters, Marie Brizard, or Giffard for higher quality without a ton of extra sweetness.
