Is this why there are so many Hawaii tourist Wooden Handled mugs out there?

Perhaps this explains it all. Must have been thousands of these carried home. Most had to have been popped and drank. Got this at an estate sale. I suppose the couple went to Hawaii in the 70's. Full can of Primo beer still shrink wrapped. Found sitting on a shelf behind the bar in the basement:

I for one think that's a cool find footfootfootfootfootfootfootfoot tiki! That would have been great gift to bring back as a gift for friends.

I love finding these still wrapped tourist gift sets from long ago, usually with a plastic flower and a little description card in there!

I would guess these carved mugs were sold by themselves also - and that for many many years.
