Local Resources

Hey all,

Total neophyte here but looking forward to building a cozy little backyard grotto and lounge in the near future.

I'm not sure if it is a breach of ettiquette or the like, but I thought that it would be nice to have a thread where people could post local or regional esablishments that are good sources (quality or price) for building materials. I'm not talking about the more personalized, collectible elements, just folks that sell the raw building materials (bamboo, matting, etc.) that are really good places in their specific areas. Just something that says "if you live in the {insert hometown here} area, here are some links for some great suppliers…"

I know that I certainly could sure use a resource like that. I did a basic search in the forum and didn't turn up anything dedicated to that. Ideally if enough people post good responses we might even consider stickying it to the top of the forum.
