Tiki short drinks..

Pages: 1 8 replies

Hi all. I've been given some really small Tiki "mugs" as a gift. They're really cute and well made, great colourful glazes on them, but I'd guess they hold max 3 oz.

So most regular tiki drinks will be far too large for them.

I'm wondering what I might serve in them. I've got a notion for making miniature 'ti punches with rhum agricole and a spot of sugar syrup and lime. Do you know of any other tiki-esque shorts you'd suggest for these? Or do we just go full NEAT RUM? .. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Make a single full drink (or two) and distribute evenly among all of the small mugs. This way your guests get to taste and drink many different drinks in one visit. Drinking problem gone! ?

Thanks AE. That's a great idea and one I hadn't thought of, for some reason!

Blame sobriety, ha! Glad to help. Small glassware or mugs are great for that. Share the love!

I have those and actually use them when I offer a "side of danger" aka a float of 151 that guests can pour onto their own drinks. Nice interactive touch.

Aha YES! The Side of Danger will be in effect this weekend.

Possibly sooner..
