Pages: 1 1 replies

The Mai Tai Manifesto cocktail recipe book is now available! That’s right, the Tiki Torches own J. Edward Preisman and R. Hamilton teamed up to write and illustrate this 20 page recipe manifesto featuring 11 delicious recipes. Full color illustrations of both the drink and elements of tiki culture fill the pages of this nifty little package. Get your copy now! Each copy includes 2 "Tiki Torch" band stickers! http://thetikitorches.bigcartel.com/

BUT WAIT, there’s more!

Want to get the full cocktail experience?

Join us Wednesday evening, May 17th from 7-9pm at the Green Door Public House on 600 S. Harwood Street in Dallas. We’ll have the books for sale, some of the actual painted art that appears in the book, drink specials, door prizes and of course, fine examples of exotica music to sip your drink by! The author and illustrator will be on hand to answer your cocktail questions like: “Why must I use Brugal 1888 rum in my Santiago?” Or “Who wore it best? Tina Louise or Dawn Wells?”

Our good buddies from the Swizzle Luau Lounge will be behind the bar mixing some of the actual recipes from the book!

We’ll see you May 17th from 7-9pm at the Green Door Public House on 600 S. Harwood Street in Dallas! Mahalo!
