My wife just got me a bottle of Dzama 3 Year. Anyone have any tasting notes or preferred uses? Their high end stuff seems to be well received, but wondering about this bottom rung on the aging totem pole. The website says: "this rum is very tropical in its character. A unique product that reveals its mysterious character to beginners and connoisseurs who can appreciate great rums." What does that mean? |

Have you tried it? What is it like? I like to collect exotic liquor on my travels so I'm curious about such things. |

yes, and it's worth getting. rich butterscotch notes. reminiscent of demerara rums, but not as smooth. i got the 6 year also, which is good enough to be a sipping rum or used in cocktails like el dorado 5 year.check it out if you can find either one. |
