Trader Vic's Logo Mug

Hi there! Can anyone tell me a little more about these guys? I've seen a few of them but most of the time they have the black and white band on the top and bottom, so I thought it was odd that this one doesn't. I have someone who is offering it to me but not sure if I should buy it or hold out for one with the black bands on the top and bottom...

I've never seen one without the black bands. You might contact Tiki Farm as they created it.
