This year the program is being launched in a boutique style. More than 40 rum expressions will be poured. The USA is considered one of the most important countries for the entire rum industry. Before the American Revolution, rum was the most consumed spirit, and now an awakening is occurring. The Rum Lab – “The Chicago Rum Fest (previously Midwest Rum FesT) is focused on becoming the Official Rum Expo throughout the MIDWEST” Our team are the producers of the Taste of Rum Puerto Rico official national rum fest, in addition to the New York, California and Seattle Rum Festival. All events attracting hundreds of people from trade, rum aficionados, tourists & locals. The event will be celebrated one day with the following sessions. Event Experience The Spirit Industry Session consists of a 1.5-hour program (1:00-2:30 pm) offering industry professionals the opportunity to: (1) network with brand representatives, (2) attend training seminars, (3) taste a wide variety of rums (4) mingle with industry colleagues. Complimentary Snacks and water will be available at each session. 2oz souvenir snifter cup included. General Admission “GRAND TASTING” Session – consists of a 3-hour program (4:00-7:00 pm) offering attendees the opportunity to: (1) taste .25oz pours of neat rum* (2) attend educational brand seminars (3) enjoy pleasant mellow music. Complimentary Snacks and water will be available at each session. 2oz souvenir snifter cup included. VIP Grand Educational and Tasting Session consist of a 4-hour program (3:00-7:00 pm) offering attendees the opportunity to: (1) taste .25oz pours of neat rum* (2) attend educational brand seminars (3) enjoy pleasant mellow music.
