CHUNG'S Fairview Park-Cleveland Ohio (Restaurant)

A 21080 Lorain spot that a matchbook and mug have been show before ..here is a menu from the archives...I can't find it on here...I like how the "China Beauty" drink pays homage to the Grass Shack...is it "that" Grass Shack?

Great find! The building is still standing. It was part of quite an amazing little suburban mid-century row, with a UFO shaped donut shop, a Japanese disco, huge main street neons, and more. Do you guys really think it was "that" Grass Shack?

I happen to have some insight into the history of “ The China Beauty “, my Stepfather Bob Hing created it when he managed Chung’s. The owner Albert, asked my Stepfather and my Mom to help promote the Tiki Bar- “The Grass Shack”, they even had a softball team. There was a piano bar in the front, I believe the piano players name was Cy.
