Mystery Tiki Skulls in TikiQuest

I picked these up at a flea market and they look darned like the skull mugs illustrated on page 100 of TikiQuest, which states that the manufacturer is "unknown." One of mine has a sticker on the bottom that reads -

A Nanco Product
Boston, Mass
Made in Japan

What do you folks think?

How do you keep finding all of these great pieces? Sheesh! I live in the wrong city.

I have that same mug marked "Islander" with an OMC sticker on the bottom. Good score - don't see them very often.
