I came across this installation of a replica Moai in a Texas Co-Op Power magazine article about roadside attractions in Texas.

I searched online and found a brief mention on the Roadside America website.

I next looked it up on Google Maps to see if it still exists.. and with this image dated May 2023 I assume it's still there.

Has anyone else discovered this one?

Per the Roadside America write up, it was carved by A.T. Dincans Jr. in 1997.

Huh. My grandparents lived in Cuero so I spent quite a bit of time in Victoria growing up. Of course, that was well before 1997. I think I've visited the town maybe twice since the moai went up. If I'm ever back that way I will seek it out. They have a nice little zoo there.
