I had already visited Lake Kane on a prior trip so this seemed like the best option for someplace to check out that was easily accessible from my hotel. Sad to say it wasn't great. Its a below-ground bar off Queensway street just across from the Bayswater tube stop. The stairs down have a great tiki mask above them and the bar itself is decently themed, though it leans a bit more to tropical than tiki. The music though was straight hip-hop (heard Snoop Dogg at least once) and the drink I had was nothing special. They get food from the associated Thai restaurant and the fried rice I had was good. If you want a bar with tropical vibes and good food its not a bad choice but as tiki bars go Lake Kane is better, even with their move to lean in to the party atmosphere.
