Speaking of rattan chairs...

...so I saw this rattan chair at a garage sale this weekend. it has a round swivel base and looks like the chair kind of sits in the swivel base. The back is higher than your head (when sitting in it). It was very comfortable in good condition and the guy wanted $85 for it. I thought that was kind of high for a garage sale, but what do you think? (sorry I don't have a picture)

it sounds exactly like my moms' favorite chair (actually the ONLY comfortable chair in her house). I think she paid about $500 new (with ottoman) about 10 or 15 years ago. She was just saying last week how she could kick herself for not buying another she saw at an estate sale for $100 last year.

Thanks, I'm thinking I should have gotten it. This guy wanted a lot of money for the stuff he was selling and no one was buying. I'll have to swing by next week and see what's happening.
