Spend Halloween with TWO MILLION CORPSES!

As some of you already know, my non-tiki hobbies include celebrity gravehunting, but sometimes they overlap:

Anyway, I've been asked to lead a walking tour of Colma on Halloween weekend and you Bay Area locals are welcome to tag along and nurture your inner goth. (Colma is a town a few miles south of San Francisco, with a population of close to two million people. About 1100 of the city's residents are alive; the rest are interred in the city's 17 cemeteries.)

In a talk filled with plenty of gallows humor and poor taste, I'll show you the final resting places of some of Colma's notable permanent residents, which include everybody who's anybody in San Francisco:

You'll see tombs that cost more than your house, Tiffany stained glass, overly emotional Victorian statuary by the ton, filming locations from "Harold and Maude," and plenty of other stuff you won't hear from the official cemetery docents.

Send me a private message if you want to come along. Act now -- space is limited to ten people!

One of my favorite bumper stickers was, "it's good to be alive in Colma"
