In Thrillville at the Parkway in Oakland this Thursday, Oct 23, I'm hosting the local premiere of the new Godzilla flick "Godzilla -Mothra- King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack"(2002, subtitled), the best Big G flick since "Destroy All Monsters," with "Creature Features" host John Stanley, local cable access hosts Dr. Goulfinger and Mr Lobo, and Godzilla and Mothra themselves all in person! Plus an episode of "Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot" , trailers, prizes, live theremin by Robert Silverman, and more. Festivities kick off at 8:30, $8, 21 and over, get there early, details at http://www.thrillville.net

I'm also hosting a "Thrillville Halloween Beach Party" at Copia in Napa on Monday, Oct 27, also with John Stanley, featuring "Horror of Party Beach", scopitones, drive-in snack ads, etc and more live theremin surf music by Robert Silverman, $7, 8PM, http://www.copia.org

and of course the Tiki Halloween Party featuring "Horror of Party Beach" with "Plan 9 From Outer Space" on Halloween night next Friday beginning at 9PM at
The Conga Lounge, no cover, http://www.congalounge.com

Happy Halloween, hipsters, see ya around, I hope.

hats off to will the thrill!,one very swank guy.talked w/ you over at the atomic forums.heres a nice movie bill coming up in my neck of the woods,at the historic loews jersey---------dave from jersey

Dave, this is my old stomping grounds, man, I think I told you I'm a South Jersey native. I've often envied your programs there, and have heard good reports. (I'd love to get my hands on that "Hold That Ghost" print but we can't show archived films at the Parkway, since we don't have two projectors for changeovers - hopefully when we open the El Cerrito next year that will change). Didn't you guys show "The Brain From Planet Arous" a few years ago? I had access to a 35mm print but was blocked at the last minute from showing it by alleged rights holder, the notorious Wade Williams. If you have some kind of valuable info about this, please email me at my site privately....keep up the good fight, Will
