Hours of work procrastination fun to be found here!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!
"Little Marcy" is one SCARY-ASS Twilight Zone doll, but I rather like the Happy Express cover.

My favourite so far is:

CAUTION: MEN SWINGING

a close second is: EXTRA SEXUAL PERCEPTION

I think this is my favorite cover from the site:

So disturbing on so many levels...

I'm a huge collector of strange record-cover art myself and will try to post a few gems from my collection if anyone's interested.

Sabu

A quick show of hands, who's surprised Sabu collects strange record cover art... Anyone? I didn't think so.

I am SOOOO interested Sabu!

Count me as interested in the weird album covers Sabu!

Ok, I'll try to post some over the weekend. (If I'm lucky I'll find a new one or two at garage sales tomorrow).

I want to go to the "New Jerusalem" with The Meeks Family because they are going in a giant silver airstream trailer! As illustrated on their album cover! Wow!
That site is hilarious.
Sabu, let's see those albums of yours, please.

I just got that record a couple weeks ago at a thrift store! The music's great too. A kinda mid-tempo lazy Hawaiian surf guitar instrumental gimmick.

It is particularly vexatious to me that I find Ferrante & Teicher albums by the wagonload but never those cool space theme ones.

If you think the pictures are frightening, you should hear her sing! Yikes!!

Well, now I have to know how and why YOU'VE heard her sing.

I can't figure out why more bands aren't trying to recreate some of these classic designs. Especially those found in the "Fashion Plates!" section.

This site is brilliant!

Here are a few photos of albums in my collection:

A.A.Allen was one of those over-the-top evangelists who preached to thousands under big-top tents. All his records are great - several of them feature possessed people speaking in the voices of demons, etc. I couldn't believe my luck when I found this album at an estate sale, mixed in with some vintage Elvis.

These were novelty-album covers that actually contained racy greeting cards.

I love my Mexican album colletion.

Vince Cardell - "protege'" of Liberace. He must have been a very good protege' to get Liberace to give him his own album. I bet he fulfilled all of Liberace's protege needs. They both obviously had similar decorating tastes. I bet Vince went well with Liberace's sofa.

That's it for today. Should I post more?
