Two or three years ago, Hobby Lobby had three sizes of gray resin Moai-style vases. The largest was about 40 or 50 dollars, the middle one was $25, I think and the smallest was about $10. When they clearanced, I got the two smaller sizes (the smallest was the size of a large tiki mug) but the largest one was gone. The large size was actually big enough (I'm guessing about two feet tall) that with a top over it, it could have been a nice small table. I'm wondering if these are still available anywhere. I know the Hobby Lobby chain no longer has them, but if they were not an exclusive, they might be in distribution somewhere else now. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and/or if they are still available somewhere? |

I don't have any info for you, though I myself would like to know also. If you look on my disorganised bar in this link, you'll see a few. I assume they are the smaller ones. http://www.unklejohn.com/mytikis04.jpg |

I'm pretty sure that link doesn't work as it takes me to http://parked.directnic.com/ Can you check on that? I'd really like to see your bar, and "disorganized" is often more interesting than the opposite. |

Weird, don't know why it does that. Possibly rotating modules in the globnoid or some crap like that. I just checked it and it worked for me (at work). You can go the long way around. |

Hmmm...interesting...your link works for me in Netscape but not Explorer. And those are indeed the small Hobby Lobby pieces; imagine one two or more feet tall and you'll know why I grieve that I missed it at about $25. [ Edited by: tikijackalope on 2003-12-03 01:06 ] |
