Question about a mug

Aloha!

I picked up an OMC peanut mug this weekend and its from Solomon Grundy's in the Berkeley Marina.

From what little I could find out on the web, it appears that it was a jazz club and not specifically a tiki bar.

Does anyone know about this joint? And do you know why they would be serving drinks in a peanut mug?

I think H's Lordship's is there now, but I might be wrong.

Wasn't Solomon Grundy part of the Legion of Doom? What's he doing owning a restaurant? :D
