Is Boba Tiki?

i thought the fact that jango/boba was a maori was brilliant. even if you hated the movie.

I did absolutley hate both new Star wars movies, but the young Boba was one of the only good things aboutthose movies. On the first new Star Wars movie Annakin is just like a regular dumb kid. There is nothing in him that shows you what he has in him to become. He's just a kid. Young Boba on the other hand, man that kid was MEAN!!! You could totally see him growing up to become the ruthless bounty hunter we all know and love.

One issue I always had with the first of the new movies was when they had this little kid risk his life in this race to get them the money to fix their ship. Queen Amidala is carrying around all these incredibly elaborate dresses that are totally jewel encrusted and it made me wonder, "If they took one jewel off just one of her dresses, wouldn't they have enough money by selling it to fix their ship and buy Annakin and his mom out of slavery?

I don't think the dresses were hers. Wasn't she "elected" queen? That would make the dresses & jewels the property of the state/people & she might not be allowed to sell'em for "personal" use.

The actor who played Jango was wasted in the Star Wars flick. For an amazing movie, Find "Once We were Warriors". A brutal movie about a Maori couples intense relationship, and the conditions surrounding the Maori.
