Thanks... I have a lot of other rare Tiki Gardens items, including a mint condition poster, but would prefer to have the LP since I'm more of a music collector. I've paid plenty for LPs in the past, so that price is not a big surprise. [ Edited by: Mganga on 2004-01-29 22:10 ] |

But once you hear the album you'll wish you had found a reprint...sorry if I offend anyone but the album is not very good - kinda fun in a campy kinda way but not listenable more than twice. |

That confirms what I suspected. I'm sure that it's not very entertaining. |

Waitaminit! Hours of peacock squawking not entertaining? It's all a matter of taste, folks. |

I Looooove this LP! The Torch Lighting Ceremony portion is a LIVE recording of Trader Frank presiding over his domain & imploring the guests to sample all the other shops & restaurants! How could you not love Ernie Shreeves live on his Werlitzer... For me (someone who never got to go) this LP achieves 2 dimensional time-travel back to a balmy night in Indian Rocks Beach.... |

Its not the Exotica masterpiece that one would hope for after being exposed to so many wonderful images. But, the Tiki Gardens theme with the waves gently crashing in the background is up there on my top ten list of exotica faves. TG [ Edited by: TikiGardener on 2004-02-02 21:12 ] |

I love that album. Anybody expecting an Arthur Lyman LP is barking up the wrong tiki. Ironically, mine is sandwiched up right next to my Tak Shindo LP's, Mganga- you must be a Tak fan as well.. I dig him [ Edited by: fatuhiva on 2004-02-01 23:29 ] |
