Amusing Shag Ebay markup.

I know that Shag is one of the hottest "lowbrow" artists around (I have nine Shag serigraphs myself), but some of the markups on his prints and merchandise on the secondary market boogle the mind. Here's an ebay auction for the lithograph "Three Musicians." Outre Gallery still has it in stock for $60, but this auction starts at $300. :o

Any predictions on whether this auction will have a buyer?

Well, whoever listed this one had the foresight to mention that there are some folks who will "...suffer the consequences of paying up to five times the original value..." $60 vs. $300? Hmmm...
