LA to Hawaii steamship exhibit - Beyond Tiki

P Polynesiac Tiki Socialite San Pedro, CA Joined: Jan 29, 2004 Posts: 2099	P Polynesiac Posted posted on Mon, Feb 9, 2004 10:25 AM For those of us TC'ers in the Los Angeles CA area there appears to be a cool exhibit at the LA Maritime Museum: "Hollywood to Honolulu: the Los Angeles Steam Ship Company's Voyages to Hawaii in the Roaring 20's" "The exhibit includes vintage hawaiian music, a raft(?) of photographs and original china and other personal items from the ship" The pictures in this exhibit alone should be worth the $1 admission into the museum. The museum itself contains countless pictures of the harbor over the last century - from square riggers to the behemoth container ships - and TONS of cool nautical antiques. Want more info?
