Witco style finish

i have some witco stuff that seems to have glossy varnish, and some that seem to be bare wood. when i make my versions i like the glossy varnish, seems to hide any blemishes better that way. i am presently working on my third witco style bar, cant wait to figure out how to use my scanner and post some pics.
