Chula Vista , CA past possibleTiki locations?

Hi
My wife,a Chula Vista (south of San Diego) native, remembers frequenting "Hom's Teapot Inn" as a child in the early eighties. She says the place(a chinese restaurant) had polynesian decor, possibly Tikis. It was closed down, and was replaced by a Mexican sports bar.
Does anyone know anything about the place? It used to be somewhere on Broadway , Chula Vista.
There's also a run-down apartment complex on L Street, Chula Vista. The place is called "Aloha Vista". We wandered in there in October last year to see if there are any Tikis there. We couldn't find any, but we only stayed for a few minutes, as the people there seemed extremely seedy and the encounter might not have been too nice...
So if anyone knows anything about these places, we'll be grateful if you could share the info.

Thanks
Ran

That apartment complex reminds me of one that is in Cordelia, near Fairfield, CA. When taking I80 East of San Francisco take the Suisun Valley Road exit (about 1 hour East), turn right at the end of the ramp, and turn right again at the 4-way stop sign. Drive down the road past the Cordelia Junction Antique Mall (worth a stop) and on your left will be a crappy looking 2 story apartment complex in a semi-polynesian design with some rotting tikis. Very seedy looking.

There is also a Scandia Fun Center with miniature golf, etc. work going to. There's a Goodwill Store in the area too.
