I ran across a Witco-ish piece today but I wasn't sure if it was or not. First off, it was of the conquistador persuasion. OK, now for those of you who are still reading... it was a carved wood frame (maybe 24 to 30 inches high by 12 wide) around a piece of masonite wrapped in cream colored fabric with a right-facing profile of a fellow. What stopped me from buying it ($10) was that the cuts seemed too sharp, not like that of a chainsaw. Can anyone post a pic from a catalog to help me verify? Not that I'm looking to build a conquistador lounge, mind you, but it might help fund my mug habit. I humbley thank you in advance. -Z |

Nope, the one I found was much less smooth... tighter detail. Thanks. -Z |

What's "conquistador" style? it sounds like all that dark badly carved spanish stuff might be emulating. |
