Drink stands for any Tiki Bar!

I've had this postcard for a while. It's from the Polynesian Village in the Somerset Hotel in Boston, Mass. I've always been intrigued with the stands that are holding the fresh pineapple and fresh coconut. I just love the presentation of it!

Maybe this is an idea that Hale Tiki could tap into. Come on BK - turn 'em out!

Those look very easy to make. They look like they are nothing more than 2 flat, wood cutouts that interlock in an "X" or "cross" configuration. That would mean they can be taken apart and stored in a stacked manner. Looks like anyone with a scroll saw could turn those out easily.

I like the idea of using bamboo rings for this purpose.
