Oh, darn. I was thinking more along the lines of something from the Wedgwood, or at least the Franklin Mint.

I heard they had some original bootleg recordings on the web, but I can't find the site yet..still looking...

Apparently, these were the original takes, minus the string orchestra section which was added in later by an over zealous (and very drunk) Phil Spector..

They say that the original versions were much leaner and sparse, and really captured the magic of Ylop's voice...

I am still looking for the out-of-print album,

" Ylop, voice of the drianaay"

A great album which really lets you here the magnificent 12 note range!!

This is exotica at it's finest!
