Hilo Hatties in Tempe, AZ closing

I have a friend that works in the management office at Arizona Mills who told me that their corporate office has chosen not to renew Hilo Hattie's lease. Instead they are going to open a Sears Homestore. So I went to check it out myself yesterday to see if it was true and sure enough they are closing on the 18th. They aren't really having any sales because they are just going to ship everything back to their warehouse. The only deals are on perishable items and they are selling shelving, barrels, etc.

There was a Hilo Hatties here in Nashville at The Opry Mills Mall, it closed just a few months ago before I arrived.

There is a Hilo Hatties in the Festival Bay Mall on I-Drive in Orlando, there is also a Ron Jon's Surf Shop with some cool tiki stuff in the same mall, Wayne from Mai Tiki (www.maitiki.com) designed the huge tikis at the outside entrance.

I am lucky enough to own 3 smaller tikis (1 to 2 footers) from Wayne at Mai Tiki. I'm representin up here in Music City!! Yup Yup.
