Finally worked out how to post my images.hope these give u a good idea of the effect (hebel) gives almost like volcanic rock i think.i've been carving these guys for approx 18 months. These one's are 1 foot tall&4x4inches wide.They weigh about 2 lbs so there pretty light.If anybody is interested in one e-mail me at [email protected] o.k. |

Those carvings are awesome - I love them all. Thanks for posting more of your work. When you carve the airated concrete, do you use special tools or just the regular wood chisels and such? |

to carve these i just use normal hand chisels u would use for wood working,files &sandpaper etc The only power tool i use is a pneumatic speed file (sander)which i have for doing auto body repairs.Because im to lazy to sand of the outer finish (looks like render almost )by hand to get to the airated concrete(volcanic look)underneath.This material is very easy to work only downside is u may sharpen your chisels etc more often to keep a nice sharp edge &get a nicer finish ......gav... |

hi guys that earlier one is peddros but ive got others or ican make some up their like a basic style i do my large tiki bodys. I will post some pics of my larger tiki's with bodys to give u guys a better idea ...GAV... |
