Kelbo's Ribs recipe?

I know this is a longshot, but this above all places is the site to ask:

Does anyone have the actual recipe for Kelbo's ribs?

I've been searching for, and trying a lot of Hawaiian rib recipes, and have never come across anything close enough.

Man those were the days! Me and Madame Bong used to hit Kelbo's in the early 80's for ribs and grog. I don't know if it was that the the ribs themselves were fabulous or it was a combination of the whole scene.

3D, try calling the LA Times food section. They have a collection of requested recipes from many restaurants in LA & elsewhere, it's pretty likely they'll have a copy of the recipe in their files.

Great idea! I never would have thought of the Times.
