I was wondering,

When we make a toast here, everyone lifts there glasses as says cheers, or prost, or whatever depending on where you're from.

Is there something special you would say at a tiki bar? Some Hawaiian phrase or something?

"Okole Maluna" -- means "bottoms up"

Wow, thats really good. Exactly what I was looking for.

Not to be picky or anything, but could you spell that phonetically? I don't want to to say it wrong, or be much more or a dork than I normally am.

how does one pronounce "orgeat?"

or-gee-ott?

or-gate?

This is an old Irish Tiki Cheer.
"May the all mighty Tiki get you into heaven, before the Devil finds out your dead."

UB

What the hell, since I'm at it:

Where does an Irish family go on vacation?
A different bar.

What is the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish Funeral?
One less drunk.

T

Cure-a-sao like "cure a cow"

once the veterinarian has cured the cow, they cure the sow.

This thread just made my day. I'm still laughing - and PolynesianPop, thanks for the info on the toast. I'll start using it today @ around 5:45pm.
