Where do you get your Henry taylor chisels from? I have only found one place in the USA (Traditional Woodwoorker.com) is there another that i have not found yet? I would like to get a couple more, but they do not have what i am looking for, and shipping from Europe along with the price is a killer.

Thanks

Andy

I just found this link for Henry Taylor Close-outs http://www.woodnshop.com/henry_taylor_carving_tools.htm The prices look real good.

I got mine thru http://www.leevalley.com

Thanks for the reply's. Still new at this game so not exactly sure what all of them do, but would like to start building a set of better quality chisels. Everything i have done so far has been with a 6 piece chepo Stanly set i got fo 25 bucks. I have also seen alot of 2 Cherry's chisels on the internet. Are these any good?

Thanks again.

Andy

Erceived a set of 2 cherries as a gift while in Europe from Kaiserstyle(owners of the Tabou Tiki Room) and I love them. I also use Henry's and Robert Sorby's.

Yes Two Cherries are among the top along with Henry Taylor Ashley Isles, Flex Cut, Hirsch, to name a few of the top brands.
A google search will give you enough to get really confused.

Here is an E-Bay seller who is offering a few Marples chisels and gouges.
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b4d828b3127ccebfa33459d1610000001610
The price is right with a bit hefty shipping. $1.00 for the chisel and $8.95 shipping which gives you the Marples tool for Under $10.00
they have 1 1/2", 1 1/4 ,1" 5/8",1/2", 3/8" 1/4" Straight chisels with wood handles Those are very good.
They have a 1/2" V-liner nd maybe a 3/8" long bent and straight gouge Excellent. They also have a 4 chisel set that looks like a 1/4" Straight and skew with a 1/2" straight and skew. Now at$4.95 with FREE Shipping. I Bought a set but don't have them yet. They are NOT marples but look good?
I do not work for the site, I just bought several Marples tools from them.

Sorry, Tikimecula...I've not been very present lately...guess Ben answered that pretty good. For what it's worth I get mine from Lee Valley (leevalley.com).
