Okay, I am very close to starting the fab work on my tiki bar in my basement (I'll post some pics eventually,) and I need abaca, thatch, poles, etc. to "tiki" it (about $500 worth of stuff.) Ohio isn't exactly Tiki central for materials, so I need to have it shipped. :) Has anyone had success with Benson's Imports via mail order? Thx |

Franks Cane and Rush is also a good source. I have had great success with shipping from Franks. The folks at Bensons have been fairly rude every time I have been there. They have lots of cool stuff but a bit of an attitude (sort of like, "you are lucky to be shopping here lowly heathen...") Good luck. |

They're fine... But Oceanic Arts is THE PLACE for materials. http://www.cosmicassociates.com/oceanic_arts_mainframe.htm Call them for a catalogue or order over the phone. They're good people and willing to help. |

Thanks for the leads. I didn't realize Oceanic and Franks shipped. I'll order catalogs asap. |
