Borneo - Anyone Been?

Has anyone been to Borneo? We're thinking of making a side trip from Tokyo after my brother's wedding in October and Borneo sounded suitably exotic. I hear that one of the beaches around there was the supposed inspiration for Bali Hai... and also, hey, they have orangutangs!
