Know there are several cool, ahem, "cafes" in Amsterdam, but are there any tiki bars? Going there end of Aug, would appreciate any input.

Hey, Satan's Sin - hit the "Search" button at the upper right. Just put in "amsterdam" and you'll get a slew of info about tiki (such as it is) in The Netherlands, written in earlier threads.

Its not just Mayonaise, i went to a freits place in Arnham that put Mayo, raw onion, sate sauce and Oorog (some mad spice stuff) on the fries.
There is a Belguim Fries place on the main drag from central station to Dam square that has 27 diffrent sauces to put on fries.

and it all comes full circle - satay is an integral component of puu-puu platters (had some last nite :) ) - so dining in holland can have an built-in tiki nature...
