Has anyone ever seen these?
here's the link: http://www.oldbug.com/412.htm
scroll half way down - its a VW wagon - cool in its self but the Tiki door locks are what I'm looking for my VW convertible.
they look custom made but you never know.

I have no experience with ordering from this company, but take a look at this :)

COOL STUFF

(Mooneyes is well-known in the rod world, and the site looks reputable.)

Door Locks

I love this antenna topper:

And a shifter knob

Dig the "Moon Eyes" on the locks and the shifter. :)

Mooneyes for sure. Very reputable co. Those tiki knobs(not the ant. ball) are made by Jimmy C for Mooneyes. The shifter should fit cause it is a drill and tap dealio.

Nice accessories. I love the door locks. Since I plan on soon having the license plate tikibug, I think these are a requirement.

thanks for help.

I've checked out mooneyes before but mostly for rims and stuff - I guess I over looked this section.

thanks for showing me the light my 1974 bug VERT thanks you too!

VWTIKIGIRL - what chu got for da VW ride?

Thanks again

My daily driver is a 63 ragtop. It may be a bucket but I love it. I never thought I'd be driving with no AC in 105 degrees, but doesn't seem to bother me. I just enjoy the ride.

WOW... I have a 1978 VW camper recently named the TIKIBUS. I am outfitting it with tikis on the inside and out. This thread is right up my alley. The locks are cool and the shifter knob is better than what I had previously found. Nice to know there are other VW/TIKI enthusiasts.

Hey
I got a VW tiki wagon too! It's a bright yellow '72 superbeetle (think mooneyes yellow) mooneyes stickers low on the quarters, 4 ball shifter (genuine 4 ball at that, sneaky homage to 8 balls in V8 hot rods - I got a flat 4 so a 4 ball it is) Lei from the rear mirror, hawaiin print material over the parcel shelf covering the speakers for the hidden stereo.

The bug is soon to go (hopefully) to get a late '70s kombi. I want to deck it out in a full wrap around mural of a tropical island, moon discs, either lowered heaps or jacked up with beafy tyres.

Interior will feature wood slat headlining (think woody) hawaiin print seat covers, big stereo for pumping out beach boys, lots of poly pop paraphenelia

For hawaiian theme you may want to check out http://wetokole.net/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=ADD2&Store_Code=WOH
There are hibiscus and othe Hawaiian themes!
They can add a VW logo too! They are very durable and not cheap. But they last!
