My understanding is that many of the ubiquitous "Leilanis" were part of a gift package. The buyer received a bottle of rum and 2 mugs. One I have is commonly referred to as "McCoy", supposedly produced by that company. I do know that anyone paying over a few dollars for one or more is silly.

Then again, a Steve Crane Associates version of the Kon Tiki Ports mug, the horrendously ugly one from Boston, went for $100 once on ebay. Very difficult to judge FMV on many mugs from ebay transactions these days.

My collection is fast becoming one of nmy higher valued asets, especially with what the NASDAQ has done in the past two years.
