It is quite easy to make your own sour mix, just equal parts fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. SS is made by combining hot water with sugar, preferably super fine sugar. Nothing makes a better cocktail than fresh juice. There are two books with classic recipes in the Intoxica, and the Grog Log. Both available at Amazon.com. Trader Vic's classic Mai Tai, Singapore Sling, Zombie, Planters Punch are all great tiki cocktails.
