The loss of your beer bottles was probably a blessing in disguise - they have a habit of mounting up incredibly quickly, and a house full of beer bottles tends to send out bad signals! Mine are on their way to be recycled over the weekend.

Yeah, I try to go for anything that looks interesting, so don't really confine myself to certain regions or countries. I keep kicking myself for buying bottles of British bitter because they always taste a little bit better when bought in a pub served in a pint glass, and my closest is 4 minutes walk away. I should be going for non-Brit beers and the really unusual British beers rather than those that are damn good beers, but are rather common.

The White Wych and Goldings ales are tricky to find and taste very very hoppy, so those were worth tasting while others like the Pedigree, 1744, and St Peters are very good, but not that different from what comes out of the tap in my local pub.
