Hmm. My user name stems from my surname, which is Hart. I've always been known as 'Harty', the same way Smith becomes Smithy or Jones to Jonesy etc etc.....
The 'H' was never pronounced so Harty became Arty. If I ever had to write it down, it became Arti. I carve tikis occassionally for a bit of fun (and cash!) and wanted a signature name, hence Artiki.
