I just checked my old calendars - and I visited Burt's Tiki Bar in SLC back in June 1994. I vaguely remember that they had some retro design then - even possibly tiki, but I took no pictures and my mind has since drawn a blank. I do remember being impressed with how the place looked, enough so to write the name of the place in my calendar. Perhaps it was more tiki back then, but then the tiki factor slowly faded away through the years. Vern |
