Has anyone heard of Burts Tiki Lounge, Albuquerque

Found this whilst lookin for something else, but couldn't find it in Locating Tiki.
Anyone know of it?

Well, Suicide_Sam didn't have any kind words to say about the place here.

At risk of having honesty misinterpreted as a lack of Aloha spirit, I'll say this: it isn't a Tiki bar, it is a punk rock live music club.

Now, I hapen to like punk rock live music clubs, but if you're looking for Tiki, do not go to Burt's (or to the other Burt's in SLC, for that matter).

I just checked my old calendars - and I visited Burt's Tiki Bar in SLC back in June 1994. I vaguely remember that they had some retro design then - even possibly tiki, but I took no pictures and my mind has since drawn a blank. I do remember being impressed with how the place looked, enough so to write the name of the place in my calendar.

Perhaps it was more tiki back then, but then the tiki factor slowly faded away through the years.
