Here we go again!
Just got cleaned up from Charley and now comes Frances.
Kinda worried about this one. Old home (well, for Florida at least), lots of remaining trees, debris strewn all around from the last storm, AND the plywood is too small to cover our windows completely... Yeesh.
My wife and pets will most likely be staying at her parent's concrete block house for the durations, but I'm going to hang tight here with a bottle of rum, some candles and a game of Strip Solitaire.
I want to be here in case something happens to the house (and tiki room, of course), hopefully stem the tide of damage in case a leak happens or a tree goes down in the wrong place...
People around here are spinning out of control on this one. I REALLY hope it is a dud.
Good luck to all the other Florida Ohana, Flounder, Bree and Tristan and all others! Keep in touch if you need anything!! I have a chainsaw and I'm not afraid to use it (just afraid to carve with it)...
