Is Rosewood particularly hard to get or valuble for carving? Is there anything special about it? May have a source. Got a few pieces of Madrone to share...will be getting the Manzanita as time allows. The wood is in 16 inch lengths, various diameters. The outside under the bark is smooth like leather.
