The extra exposure certainly took Janet Jackson from the forgotten list onto the front page, the David Letterman Show, cameo appearance on sitcoms, etc.

a starlet's breast 'accidentally" becoming exposed is not a 21st century phenomenon :)

for your more prurient curiosities, there is a website (duh) featuring scores of nipular blunders. all these people didn't skyrocket to fame because of them :)
