"What's with the "Made in Japan" and "copy of"?"

The Davis gallery was the seller for Leeteg's works, it was located in Hawaii. As the price of his originals rocketed the Davis gallery sold these "authentic copies". Most(all?) of the Leetegs one sees on ebay are these prints/copies/repro's. The Davis label should always be on the back, with title and painting #.

They're pretty nice, especially considering the price of an original. For real info:
