There's a great John Goodman movie from around 1992 called "Matinee" that sort of captures the hysteria of the era ... it takes place during the Cuban Missile Crisis and is told from the perspective of a Military Brat living in Key West. Not a great flick, but worth a watch if you haven't seen it. |
