Recipe: Floridita Daiquiri Revisited - Tiki Drinks and Food

I wanted to add my own variation to the Mai Kai recipe. 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice 3 oz fresh squeezed grapefruit juice 3 oz Appleton White Rum 1/2 oz sugar syrup 1/2 oz Florida Orange Blossom Honey (heated) Blend all ingredients in mixer first. Then add a scant 2 cups of ice. Blend again until smooth. Makes two smaller drinks or one big one. Notes: The Appleton White really works in this drink; give it a try. The real secret is the sugar/honey combo. If you've been to the Mai Kai lately, try this drink. Notice the orange blossom flavor. Yep, that's the Mai Kai.
