I'm not much for any of the modern Pop-rockers, but Hoobastank's The Reason is You always pleases me for some reason. Weezer's "Buddy Holly" and "Say it Ain't So" are great too! It may be a stretch to call it pop, but the late Jeff Buckley's version of "Halleluya" by Leonard Cohen is quite sublime. I also love Patti Smith's "Pissin' in a River" (Power Pop?) -FB P.S.
