His band included Paul Carack on keys & vocals (I can't remember who was on Guitar or Drums) & they were the opening act on the bill. I can't even think of who was the headliner, but they must've been big since they were playing the local Enormodome. We got them to play "Marie Provost" and he later invited me & my friend Daveinblack backstage for a beer & to talk music. I was completely tongue tied, and what I remember most is that his first & middle fingers had turned golden from all the cigarettes he'd smoked.
